EMDR, Brainspotting, Mid-Life Transition & Identity Therapy that Propels You Forward
Resolve past wounds, gain clarity, and feel fulfilled.
You thought you’d feel happier by now. Instead, you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, uncertain about your relationship, unfulfilled at work, worried about how this affects your kids, or wondering who you are beyond the roles you’ve spent years fulfilling. You’re struggling to communicate your needs in a way that lands; it seems your feelings don’t matter. You eventually stop because just going along with your family’s wants is easier than causing more friction. You feel unseen and misunderstood. You want to live a more fulfilling life. You find yourself thinking “I can’t handle this anymore… something’s got to change.”
I use EMDR & Brainspotting to help you resolve past experiences, losses, beliefs, and patterns that no longer fit the life you’re trying to build. We work on the root of issues that keep you stuck and replace them with positive and adaptive thinking so you can feel in control and confident in forging your path to your true identity and life’s purpose.
You don’t have to continue with “just getting by” or a life you do not feel your worth or feelings matter or that no longer fits you. Therapy with me will allow you to declutter the negative thinking in your brain so that you can feel empowered to live the life you are meant for.

About Me
Meet Kellie Tucker Boyle, LPC, EMDR & Brainspotting Therapist in Purcellville, Virginia
Hi, I’m Kellie. I help adults in mid-life crisis who are feeling stuck, questioning life, having career dissatisfaction, marriage uncertainty, loss of purpose, grief or realizing old wounds still influence their choices.
This work is personal to me as someone who had spent years doubting her instincts, feeling misunderstood and knowing I was capable of giving more than I was, but not having the tools or the belief system I needed to get there. This experience shapes how I show up in my therapy office with the understanding, confidence and belief that each person deserves to feel better than they do now and flourish in life. Having done both EMDR & Brainspotting myself personally, I know first-hand the clarity and relief this works brings to your life.
My work focuses on helping you release stuck emotions, desensitize negative beliefs and memories that keep you stuck in the same patterns; and installing positive mindsets which helps you to move forward and leading a more fulfilling, meaningful life. Clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, stuck, and anxious but leave with greater clarity, more capable, confident, and having more trust in themselves.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do you offer in-person therapy?
Yes! I would love to meet with you in person, most of my clients prefer in person when they can. My office is located in Purcellville, VA. I also offer telehealth services for anywhere in the state of Virginia.
2. How much does therapy cost?
Therapy is a personal investment in yourself! You are literally rewiring your brain and healing your nervous system. My intake is $255/hour. My 55 minute sessions are $215 and 45 minute sessions are $190. I have a limited amount of sliding scale spots. And can also do 90+ plus sessions.
3. Do you take insurance?
No, I do not submit insurance directly and am considered an out of network provider. I provide a monthly superbill to clients by request. Most of my clients get close to full or partial reimbursement from their insurance providers.
4. How long will I need to be in therapy and how often do we need to meet?
This will be based off the goals you want to accomplish in therapy and your level of trauma, attachment, dysregulation, etc. There are people who come to therapy for a few months and decide they got what they came for and there are people that can take multiple years to work through some of the trauma or experiences they have endured. I always recommend once a week therapy for at least the first month and then reassess thereafter.
5. Why therapy? Should I just handle this on my own?
A wise friend once commented “therapy is the responsible thing to do”. We go to the doctor when we’re ill, the chiro when our neck is stiff and take our car in for routine oil changes. Why wouldn’t we give the same care to our brain and nervous system? Talking through something with a friend or suppressing thoughts or emotions are not the same as meeting with a professional who has had years of school, residency and experience understanding the importance of processing feelings & events, regulating emotions, understanding relationship patterns, how trauma affects the body, etc.
